Last Updated: June 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Super Lumi Services ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information from visitors and users of thehvacregistry.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy is written in plain language so you understand exactly what happens to your information when you interact with our Site.

1. Who We Are

Super Lumi Services is a lead generation company operating an online directory of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) companies across the United States. We are based in Illinois. We collect consumer service requests and, with your consent, connect consumers with HVAC professionals.

We are not an HVAC contractor and do not perform any HVAC services.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information You Provide Directly

When you submit a service request form on our Site, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • ZIP code / service location
  • Description of your HVAC service need

We do not collect payment information from consumers. Payment information is only collected from HVAC companies purchasing leads, and is processed by our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) — we do not store payment card details on our servers.

2b. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, we or our third-party analytics providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages viewed and time spent on the Site
  • Referring URL (the site that linked you to ours)
  • Date and time of your visit

This information is collected via cookies and similar tracking technologies. See Section 7 (Cookies) for more detail.

2c. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, financial account numbers, health or medical information, or precise geolocation data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To process your service request and connect you with an HVAC contractor in your area
  • To share your contact information with a single, exclusive HVAC company as described in Section 4
  • To respond to your inquiries or support requests
  • To maintain records of lead transactions for billing and compliance purposes
  • To improve the functionality and content of our Site
  • To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. How We Share Your Information

4a. Sharing with HVAC Contractors (Core Business Function)

The primary purpose of our Site is to connect consumers with HVAC professionals. When you submit a service request form, your contact information and service description may be shared with one (1) licensed HVAC company operating in or near your ZIP code. This is an exclusive arrangement — your information is not shared with multiple contractors for the same request.

By submitting our form, you expressly consent to this sharing as described in our Consumer Consent & Data Sharing Disclosure.

4b. Service Providers

We may share limited information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our business, including:

  • Email service providers (for delivering lead notifications to our team)
  • Payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for processing payments from HVAC companies
  • Website analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) for understanding Site usage
  • Web hosting and infrastructure providers

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and may not use it for their own marketing purposes.

4c. Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or respond to an emergency.

4d. Business Transfers

If our business is sold, merged, or transferred, your personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via a notice on our Site if such a transfer occurs and your data is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

4e. What We Do NOT Do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to data brokers, advertisers, or unrelated third parties. Your information is used solely for the lead generation purpose described in this policy.

5. Data Retention

We retain consumer lead information (name, email, phone, ZIP code, service description) for a period of 24 months following the date of submission. This retention period allows us to maintain records for billing disputes, compliance audits, and legal purposes.

After the retention period expires, we delete or anonymize your personal information. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us as described in Section 8.

Technical and analytics data (IP addresses, browser data) is retained for up to 12 months and then purged or anonymized.

6. Your Privacy Rights

6a. All Users

Regardless of where you live, you may:

  • Request to know what personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to our legal retention obligations)
  • Withdraw your consent to data sharing (note: withdrawal applies prospectively and does not undo sharing that has already occurred)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at superlumiservices@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days.

6b. California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) provide you with additional rights:

  • Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to Delete: You may request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
  • Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If this practice changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out mechanism.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

To submit a California privacy request, contact us at superlumiservices@gmail.com with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days as required by law.

6c. Illinois Residents (PIPA)

Under the Illinois Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), we are required to notify you of any security breach that compromises your personal information. We maintain reasonable security measures as described in Section 9 and will notify affected Illinois residents as required by law in the event of a breach.

7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies and similar technologies to improve your experience and analyze Site traffic. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the Site to function properly (e.g., session management). These cannot be disabled.
